53. Day in Kuranda

Kuranda is about 40 mins to northwest from Cairns. It's a nice small town on top of mountain. Lots of forest walks and maybe the best waterfall that I've ever seen called Barron falls.

52. Another road trip

We had an over night road trip to Cape tribulation that is about 2 hours north from Cairns. We had a rental car and 7 of us. On the way there we stopped at took a rainforest walk in the worlds oldest rainforest in the Daintree National Park. Then we continued and got on a small ferry to take us Cape tribulation. After enjoying the beach for some hours at our hostel we cooked a good meal and had a great time with friends. Next morning we went around the area and for some lookouts and forest walks and laid on the beach of course.

51. Road trip to water falls

We rented a car with few friends and took a road trip to Josephine falls first where we were enjoying natures water slide. 

Then we drove to Behana gorge falls that is not a tourist attraction so though it was the perfect place there weren't many people there. It is about 45 min walk from the parking lot to the falls. There were nice places to jump from high to the water. One of the best days here so far.

50. Diving in the Great Barrier Reef

The best dive I've done! Saw so many fish and sharks and a turtle and ofcourse lots of corals.

49. Cairns Botanic Gardens

I wisited the Botanic Gardens in Cairns. Beautiful nature and birds.

47. Cairns

I have now been in Cairns for few days. It is a nice city not too grouded. You are not able to go swim in the ocean because of crocodiles, stingrays and sharks but there is a nice lagoon near the sea shore.

46. Mission beach

Today walked thrue a piece of rainforest in Mission beach. Nice scenery around Mission beach.

45. Skydive at Mission beach

Did the 14000ft skydive with Enja.
So very scary when traveling to the plane and when flying in the plane but after youtake off from the plane it is just adrenalin kicking in and sooo awesome. Free fall felt so unreal but when the parachute opens it is the best feeling ever to just glide down look at the scenery and after few minutes land on the beach.

44. Leaving Magnetic

It is time to move on and I'm on the road again heading to Mission beach.

It has been good times staying here and found some really good friends and going to miss them.
